Thru 'Shair' Bombay's August-06 I've known about ur accomplishments, and aould'nt refrain from appreciating ur lots of work in different areas. Particularly, I've gone thru ur poetry, which is my interest of reading and of writing. As a 'ghazalgo' I admire ur thoughts, ur choice of words, tashbihaat, and istaa'ras which represent the full expressions of intensity of the messages, u intend to deliver.

 

I'm also suprised of one of ur ghazals' 'behr', 'radeef', and 'qaafia', which exactly resembles one of my ghazals' which has been published in one of my books "vafa kyuu'n nahee'n milty?" in the yr 2000. Like ur ghazal's matlaa':

 

safar mai'n khud hi haa'il ho gaya huu'n......mei'n apna raasta roke khaRa huu'n.

 

cha'nd ashaar of my ghazal:

 

agarche chalte chalte thak gaya huu'n.......magar phir bhi musalsal chal raha huu'n.

 

mei'n insaa'n huu'n magar insaan hi se......juda hota bikharta ja raha huu'n.

 

aTa huu'n dhuul se garche, chalo tum......kisi manzil ko jaata raasta huu'n.

 

talab, hasrat, vafa, aur yaad ban ke.......teri aa'nkho'n se aksar beh raha huu'n.

 

ghamo'n ne mujh ko dohraaya yuu'n 'ashraf'.....ghazal ka juu'n radeef-o-qaafiya huu'n.
