I am always impressed by how you articulate your thoughts. For me having a respectful dialogue is the best way to learn from each other.
I will send your response to some of my friends and invite them to share their ideas about my article and your response.
I am of the opinion that there are
religious philosophies
spiritual philosophies
and
secular philosophies
that people believe in and practice in their lives.
My journey has been from blind faith to critical and creative thinking. In that journey writers like
Darwin, Freud, Marx, Russell and Sartre alongside many others played a major role.
For me Darwin was the first one who showed that life on planet earth can be explained without God and Religion. For some people religious reasons are enough while others need scientific, logical and rational reasons to be satisfied.
Most religious people I met believe in a personal God that performs miracles and breks laws of nature. I have met some religious people who believe in God as well as Theory of Evolution and believe God created Evolution They do not believe in a Personal God that interferes all the time producing miracles  but most who believe in Evolution do not believe in God.
For me Laws of Nature are the fascinating aspects of life that scientists, psychologists and sociologists are trying to explore and understand.
As a student of human psychology i am fascianted with human mind and feel that human personality is connected with biology and brain on one hand and culture on the other hand
and we as human beings are evolving and growing and human dialogue is one way to grow tio the next stage of cultural evolution.
