while celebrating
Dennis and Maria’s twenty fifth wedding anniversary
after a long long
time
I danced by myself
for hours
like that blind
and deaf man
who kept on
dancing after the music had stopped
People did not
know that he was
dancing to his
inner music
so was I
the inner music
composed of
your thoughts in
my mind
your images in my

your memories in
my soul
It was not just

rather
in the last few
weeks
once again
I feel like
going for long
walks by the lake
reading love poems by myself
enjoying looking at sunrises and sunsets
listening to birds chirping
playing with children
talking to the old and wise

listening to the whispers of life

radiated through

your humorous e-mails
